2023 Nashville Mayoral
Candidates Questionnaire

Connect Mid-TN sent a questionnaire to the 2023 mayoral candidates. It was eight questions that asked about each candidate's vision for transportation in Nashville. Topics included infrastructure and funding that facilitates the safe use of cars and traffic, pedestrians, bicycles, public transit, and micro-mobility.
As a coalition, we seek to know more about the perspectives of the Nashville mayoral candidates. Understanding transportation issues that could improve sustainability, walking, biking, transit access, and safety is critical. As a coalition, we believe it is vital that we understand candidates’ views about mobility, funding, and the role of public participation in shaping Nashville’s future. The SustainableTransportation Candidate Questionnaire is meant to allow Nashvillians to learn more about each candidate’s priorities and strategies to improve mobility.
